A Trophy Pike Mecca, Misekumaw Mini-Lodge

Remote, rugged, and renowned for monster pike, but also an exceptional fishery for lake trout and arctic grayling. This is northern fishing at its absolute finest.

Rated 4.7/5 stars on Trip Advisor

We thought it might be a once-in-a-lifetime trip, but it was so special we’re heading back for the third time in 2025.

From peaceful mornings with coffee by the lake to watching the northern lights at night, Milton Lake Lodge was truly a trip of a lifetime.

We had a memorable trip with fantastic fishing and were lucky to be paired with their most experienced guide, Braden.

Superb food, great fishing, and a team that went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after.

Everything exceeded expectations—guides, accommodations, and food that could rival a high-end Seattle restaurant

There’s no better experience—trophy fish, great food, and a team that takes care of every detail.

The Camp Attendant Will Manage Your Boats and Outpost

Misekumaw Lake covers the largest area of all our lakes at 13km long and 6km wide. This scenic lake has many sand beaches, islands and sand eskers along the shores. This is an excellent trophy pike lake with many spawning areas in the shallow waters on the east side. Misekumaw also holds lake trout and arctic grayling can be found in the river. The 16 foot boats are on the beach in front of the cabins and ready to go equipped with 4 stroke 15 hp motors. At this camp you bring your own fishing gear and are completely on your own chosen schedule — however the camp attendant will gas and maintain the boats and motors, tend to cleaning the camp and kitchen, and ensure the camp is running seamlessly. Extra rods and reels are on hand as may be needed and we also provide fishing tackle for each boat if you care to use and only ask you pay for any lost tackle. The camp attendant will give you a detailed orientation of the lake and can provide tips/guidance. At Misekumaw, a complimentary food package is provided and guests pick beverage choices before their trip, and we arrange delivery to the camp.
