Professional Guides

The Guides at Milton Lake Lodge are experienced and dedicated. Not only are they experts on fishing Milton Lake, they also share your passion for angling. Whether you like to jig or troll for lake trout, pitch flies or topwater baits for northern pike or even hit the rivers in search of the sailfish of the north, the arctic grayling, our guides have you covered.

Boats that are a Pleasure to Fish From

When you are at Milton Lake, you will be comfortable, safe, and able to get around quickly in your 17 foot Lund boat. They have huge casting decks and are equipped with 40 HP 4-stroke Yamaha motors. Experienced guides will take you to the most productive fishing locations and help you land the big ones. Each boat is for the use of two guests and their guide. The boats also feature fish finders, rod holders, loads of storage space, deluxe swivel seats, and a live well. Having the right tackle will make fishing more fun, and more successful. We provide our guests with the complimentary use of high quality fishing gear. We use a mix of quality rods and reels including Sage, TFO and Fenwick fly rods; Fenwick, Daiwa, Pflueger, and Shimano bait casting and spinning rods. Milton also has available waders and boots for those who wish to wade the river for Arctic Grayling.
