Fall fishing

We're extending the season to include lake trout spawn fishing in mid-September -- faint of heart need not apply! This trip is for the hardcore trophy fisherman who is in pursuit of the lake trout of a lifetime.

In fall, we sight-fish in four to seven feet of water when they leave the depths to lay their eggs on rocky reefs. This is by far your best chance of catching The Big One.

Don't rule out northern pike in September either. After feeding all summer they are bigger now than ever.
